BE1 National Football Academy Teams
Players born in 2017-2018
The BE1 NFA F team, consisting of players born in 2017–2018, is an important transitional link between the U7 team and the older, more advanced academy teams. The F team players participate in Lithuanian Children’s Football League matches and various international tournaments together with players born in 2015–2016, thus gaining valuable competitive experience as they transition to professional football.
At this stage, the main focus is on strengthening technical skills, developing coordination and consolidating the basics of the game. Children are taught to act boldly with the ball, make their first decisions on the field and better understand the principles of team play.
The team coaches play a very important role in the academy structure – they help players smoothly transition from the stage of game knowledge to a more focused football education. This is a period during which not only football skills are formed, but also discipline, responsibility, and a consistent approach to development, laying the foundation for a future career.
